LOCATION AND DATES
The FCCA Annual Conference will be held in the Washington, D.C. on August 8 – 11, 2022 at the historic Mayflower Hotel, Autograph Collection.
REGISTRATION INFO
Conference registration will open to district court clerks, lifetime members, and members who paid their 2022 membership dues by December 31, 2021, on Monday, May 16 at 2 PM EST. General registration will open on Wednesday, May 18 at 2 pm EST. E-mails announcing each registration opening date will be sent. Please do not share the registration link with others. We have capped registration at 360 and will institute a waitlist, if needed.
The conference registration fee is listed below. Guest tickets for optional events will be available for purchase during the registration process.

The conference registration fee includes a reception on Monday evening, light breakfast on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, and dinner on Thursday evening. Only presenters who paid the registration fee, paid members wearing conference name badges, or guests with purchased tickets, will be permitted to attend conference events, including meals.
NOTE: For attendees whose conference registration fee is paid for by their court, the breakfast cost is $18.00 for each day and the dinner cost on Thursday is $36.00.
Payment for conference registration fees may be made using a credit card or a purchase order. Questions about purchase orders can be directed to treasurer@fcca.ws. Purchase orders are due by June 13, 2022 and should be made payable to:

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
When organizing our conference, we have entered into signed contracts with the hotel and other vendors. Under these contracts, we have made monetary commitments to them.
Conference registrations cancelled on or before May 23, 2022, will receive a full refund. If the registration is canceled on or after May 24, 2022, we will refund 50% of the registration fee. Registrations cancelled on or after June 6, 2022, will not be refunded. To cancel a registration, send an e-mail to questions@fcca.ws and include FCCA Conference Cancellation Request in the subject line.
If you cancel your registration, you cannot substitute another court employee in your place. Registration is on a first come, first served basis and if the conference is sold out, a waiting list will be instituted. Any open spot will be offered to the members on that list in the order in which their registration was received.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Please be aware that while the FCCA encourages masking, vaccination, and social distancing, we cannot enforce these practices at the hotel, unless the hotel adopts COVID-19 protocols. During registration, you will be asked to acknowledge FCCA’s COVID-19 Waiver.
If the hotel institutes COVID-19 protocols prior to the conference, we will immediately advise all registered attendees. As of May 2, 2022, the hotel does not have any COVID-19 protocols in place; however, masks are required on public transportation in Washington, D.C. Proof of vaccination and masks are generally not required in D.C.; however, visitors are encouraged to check with individual establishments about COVID-19 protocols. Please carefully review the Current Travel Status at https://washington.org/dc-information/coronavirus-travel-update-washington-dc.
Please consider your comfort level with COVID-19 before making the decision to travel, and please do not feel pressured to attend if you are not comfortable. Note: The conference is being held at a historic hotel in Washington, D.C., and social distancing will not be possible because of the size of the conference rooms and ballrooms.
HOTEL INFO
Once you have registered for the conference, an email confirmation will be sent to you that will include the hotel booking link. Please note, only conference registrants will be permitted to make hotel reservations under the FCCA room block. If you are not registered for the conference and make a hotel reservation under the FCCA room block, your room will be cancelled. Please do not share the links with non-confirmed attendees.
The FCCA has negotiated a lodging rate at the conference hotel at the government rate of $172/night, plus taxes. A limited number of rooms are reserved for attendees that would like to arrive before the conference or stay after the conference, at the government rate.
TRANSPORTATION
The closest airport is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). The airport is approximately 5 miles from the hotel. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are available to and from DCA. If you are planning on using these ride sharing services, you should download their apps before arriving in DC.
CONFERENCE ATTIRE
Business/resort casual is suitable for all conference activities. It is recommended to bring a light sweater as meeting rooms can get chilly.
